Xiaomi MI-2: The Phone That Blows Away The iPhone 5

I really understand that people really want to be the first to get the latest Apple product. However, what I don’t understand is if they don’t mind waiting why not hold on for a few more months and grab much more powerful Chinese phones?

Xiaomi Mi-2

Xiaomi Mi-2 Buy Online

The Xiaomi Mi-2 will be on sale from next month but before you get super excited and start filling in pre-orders, there are 2 points I would like to mention:

  • The pre-orders are open to customers in China only.
  • Even in China, people will have to wait 1/2 months to get hands on one!
  • Nevertheless, don’t worry as international resellers will offer them (like Realpricesfromchina.com)

But this article is about waiting, and then blowing the iPhone 5 out of the water! Hence, let’s see what we get with the Xiaomi Mi-2.

Xiaomi MI-2 specification

The Xiaomi MI-2 is powered by the stunning Qualcomm Snapdragon 8064 CPU quad-core chip clocked at 1.5ghz and gets a mind blowing 2GB RAM. That’s it that’s all you need this phone is awesome. Buy one!

Ok, ok more details. The MI-2 also has a fantastic screen measuring 4.3 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and 342PPI (That’s more PPI than Retina/Super Amoled Plus/Any Display). Besides, the cameras’ are amazing on the Xiaomi MI-2 too! With the rear being an 8 mega-pixel unit with 28mm wide angle lens! (Just Apple gives on iPhone 4S) & rear one being 2 mega-pixel. What’s more both the front and rear cameras can capture 1080 video.

  1. It's really a matter of sorrow that the big OEM's like Samsung Mobile, Motorola, HTC, Sony cannot compete with the local Chinese OEM including price, durability & software support.. They switched to Qualcomm's Quad Core, giving 2GB RAM, Memory Card Support with a stunning 4.3inch display (343PPI-better than Retina display) for just only at $310. Their software support like major Android upgrade procedure is also fast than the big names! Sigh!

  2. Thank you very much mister saif for talking our website, even if it’s pretty new, we are working hard to give access to the people Worldwide to the Real Prices From China.

Just 2 points to correct please:
1-Xiaomi m2 16GB is without sd card reader.
2-We ask only 10USD as fees for us + the phone real price (318USD, exchange RMB=USD) + the shippment fees + the payment fees (if the client pay by paypal for example, he pay the paypal fees, not us, because paypal fees re more than our commission, If he pays by western union the same thing and so on).

At the end, we gain only 10 usd, the others are asking now, today this hour, 400, 450 even 500 for the phone.

Our goal is nor to get rich fast, but to get know and trusted by every one.

  3. It still confounds me that so many people say “_______ is quad core and the iPhone is only dual core, therefore _________ wins!” It’s an example of total ignorance that you see all over the Internet. The number of cores often means VERY little.

This can be easily explained. Android runs its apps in a Java runtime, which means that the processor not only has to do the work, but also convert Java byte code to machine byte code. iOS runs all apps natively, straight from SSD to RAM to CPU. Java is needed for OSes where architectures may vary, like Android, but Apple uses one processor architecture, so it doesn’t need to worry about it.

Many Windows apps also use some kind of emulation/virtualisation called the Common Language Infrastructure (CLI; part of .NET), which is similar to Java’s, at least during runtime. Again, OS X apps are native, and thus more processor/memory efficient, because Apple controls the hardware.

    • Sorry You can’t! There’s no way to get Xiaomi Mi-2 in BD. However, you can order in online store like (realpricesfromchina.com). I heard they ship to Bangladesh. (You’ve to pay the additional money for shipping+TAX)
