CyanogenMod 9 Will Have Custom Music Player, Fully Theme-able

by Saif Hassan on January 17, 2012

The Ice Cream Sandwich based CyanogenMod 9 (otherwise knows as CM9) will include some custom apps, such as the Trebuchet launcher, but also an improved, fully themeable music player. Besides, it will also be released as a standalone application in the Android Market.

A developer working on the music app, recently told The Verge some of the planned features: You’ll be able to perform custom actions by shaking your device, customize the controls in the notification shade, and more. Probably the best feature is that the app will have a “full theme engine”, so our themers and designers in the forums can get to work on it once it’s released. Yay!
